Great students.
Better systems.
Executive Function Coaching for Middle & High School Students in Weston, Broward & South Florida. Bilingual professional coaching available (English & Español)
At POINT, we bridge the gap between your child’s potential and their actual performance. We help overwhelmed middle and high school students become more capable, independent learners by building real-world systems for organization, time management, focus, task initiation, follow-through, and academic independence, integrated directly into their daily schoolwork.
Our Approach
Bridging the Gap Between Intent and Action
Sometimes, the biggest hurdle Isn’t the lack of effort, it’s the absence of a study system. When assignments pile up and deadlines appear out of nowhere, what often looks like a lack of interest is actually a form of academic paralysis. This is common for students needing ADHD-friendly organization or better stimulus control to find a method that clicks with their unique brain.
While many students are open to trying new planners, apps, or schedules, these often serve as temporary fixes for a deeper structural need. Lasting change doesn’t come from an external tool; it comes from developing a personal framework that feels natural and can be sustained over time.
This journey is essential for every family, especially in a homeschooling environment, as it offers the opportunity to transform the learning experience completely. By acquiring a professional strategy to manage the ‘business’ of being a student. Instead of reacting to chaos, students learn how to plan, finish work, and feel capable again.
At Home
Does it sound familiar?
These are not signs of a lack of effort—They are common signs of executive function skills that need support.
The "Kitchen Trip" Detour
They went for water and ended up playing with the dog or starting a conversation. They never actually made it back to the desk.
The "Submit" Phobia
The essay is finished, but the fear of imperfection keeps the grade at a zero.
The "Almost Finished" Trail
A graveyard of half-done projects and "Final-V2" drafts.
The "Everything is Fine" Shield
I've got it handled," they say, until Sunday at 9 PM when it becomes a family emergency.
The "Quick Question" Wall.
Stuck on one instruction, they stop everything. Instead of asking for help, they spend days staring at the screen in silence.
The "Pseudo-Work" Grind
They look busy with 30 tabs open, but the Google Doc is still empty.
The "Frustration Shutdown.
The syllabus looks too long, so they just close the laptop. It’s not that they don't care, their brain simply checked out.
The "Just One TikTok" Spiral
A "one-minute break" becomes a 45-minute loop.
Brain Basics
The Skills Behind School Success
Executive Function is the brain’s ‘Command Center’ located in the prefrontal cortex. It is the bridge that turns a student’s intentions and knowledge into organized action.
Many bright students possess great potential but lack the consistent systems required to execute high-level work.

- Staying organized
- Sustained focus

MY STORY
20+ Years Helping Students Succeed
After two decades in education in the U.S. and abroad, I saw the same pattern again and again:
Bright students were expected to perform, but were rarely taught how to manage workload, stress, and execution. I created POINT to give families what schools often cannot: personalized systems for real academic life.
As an educator, executive function coach, and mother, I understand both sides:
- Student overwhelm
- Parent frustration
- Hidden potential
My goal is simple:
Help students become capable, independent, and calmer at home.
Investment In Independence
The POINT Blueprint

FAQs
How is this different from tutoring?
Tutors focus on “what” to learn; we are academic coaches who focus on “how” to learn.
Is this therapy?
No. Therapy explores the “Why.” We build the “How” through tactical habit-building and organizational tools.
Will this be "more work"?
No. We work on their actual school assignments. Our goal is to make their current workload faster and much less stressful.
What if my child is resistant?
Resistance is usually a defense mechanism. Once they feel the relief of finishing work faster and having more free time, they buy in.
How long until we see progress?
It varies. Some students see immediate shifts; for others, it takes about 4 weeks. When the plan is followed, you will first see fewer missing assignments and better organization. Better grades and independence follow. It’s not magic; it’s a system.
What is the role of the parents?
We move you from “Manager” back to “Parent.” We handle the systems; you get weekly email updates and restore the peace.
Does my child need a formal diagnosis?
We don’t coach a diagnosis; we coach the individual. Our method works for any bright student who is currently struggling to stay organized.
What Families Are Saying
The backpack isn't a black hole anymore."
“I just wanted to stop finding crumpled, half-finished assignments at the bottom of her backpack weeks too late. Seeing her actually use a planner without me hovering over her shoulder is a massive relief.”
Parent of a 7th Grader (Weston, FL)
I actually have my Sundays back.
“Sundays used to be pure anxiety and late-night crying over projects we ‘forgot’ about. Last night, he finished everything by 4 PM. We actually watched a movie together. That hasn’t happened in a long time.”
Parent of a 9th Grader (Boca Raton, FL)
I thought I was just lazy.
“I always felt like I was smart but I just couldn’t get moving like the other kids. Everything felt like a huge mountain. POINT didn’t give me more work, it just showed me how to break the mountain into steps.”
High School Senior (Plantation, FL)
We’ve stopped being the 'Homework Police'
“Our relationship with our son was suffering because every conversation was ‘Did you finish…?’ or ‘Why is your grade…?’. POINT took that off our plate. He deals with his coach, and we just get to be his parents again.”
Parent of an 11th Grader (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
He’s finally 'turning the key'.
“Our son has all the gears, but he could never quite get started. He’d spend hours ‘studying’ but get nothing done. Now he has a routine that actually has an end point. He’s working less but accomplishing way more.”
Parent of a 10th Grader (Weston, FL)
I'm not scared of my inbox.
“I used to have so many unread emails from teachers and I would just ignore them because I was too overwhelmed to reply. My coach helped me handle them as they come. It sounds small, but it changed my stress levels.”
10th Grade Student (South Florida)
